Sitting on a ridge above the West Coast of Barbados with dramatic views out to the ocean, Atelier House is a stunning Caribbean retreat. The design was conceptualised in close collaboration with the interior owner-architect, who has completed projects for discerning homeowners in London, France, Italy and Kenya.
The dramatic double-height living space maximises the stunning views which extend beyond the outdoor terraces and pool across a mahogany tree-filled gully to the Caribbean Sea. In addition to the ground-level terraces and 32x27 ft. pool there is a large roof terrace and mezzanine-level study offering stunning views of the West Coast. The villa is surrounded by a half-acre of gardens featuring indigenous palms, lilies, bougainvillea and many flowering shrubs.
The accommodation comprises four spacious bedrooms; the upstairs master suite has a glazed balcony with views over the sea and a covered outdoor terrace for relaxing; the en suite bathroom has separate bath and shower facilities. The three guest bedrooms are all located on the ground floor; an en suite guest bedroom features an enclosed outdoor shower, while the two additional guest bedrooms share a bathroom between them.

Unlike some operators, we always include the local Barbados fees and taxes in our prices – this isn't added later. If you find any of our properties at a lower price elsewhere we promise to match it for you.
Property owners tend to accept bookings over the Christmas and New Year period on stricter terms than at other times of year. In general, bookings are subject to a 14 night minimum stay but owners may require a 3 week booking in some cases and will often need to approve dates to fit with their own travel plans or those of other guests. A higher deposit of 50% of the total rental price is payable for such bookings and the balance becomes due earlier at 90 days before arrival.
All prices quoted above have been calculated based on information provided by the owners but are subject to confirmation during December and January as occasionally owners may insist on the higher Christmas rate being applied either side of the main Christmas period. We suggest you contact us for a firm price quotation at this time of year, before making your booking.

This was our second visit to Barbados and we had a truly wonderful holiday, falling back in love with the island, the way of life and the house we rented for 2 weeks.
