Commanding over 2 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on one of the highest positions within the Sandy Lane Estate sits Highlands, an exceptionally private villa. With no neighbouring houses to the property’s rear, Highlands benefits from unobstructed cooling tradewinds from the east and it’s elevated position guarantees afternoon sun and evening sunsets.
As you enter the villa you are met by lush indoor / outdoor gardens which help set the scene for this unique home in the tropics. The main bedroom wing includes the spacious master bedroom suite with private plunge pool and the three guest bedrooms all have air conditioning and their own private bathrooms and terraces.
The enchanting dining area is bordered by lush tropical plants and a water feature helps set the scene for memorable dinner parties with friends or family. There is also a bar, breakfast dining area and outdoor dining around the pool.
The pool area includes a private sun deck with sun loungers and dining tables – again bordered by exquisite gardens. The house comes complete with a cook and house keeping staff and offers a relaxing escape whilst being close to the amenities of the west coast or of the Sandy Lane Estate which includes tennis, golf and a world class beach club with bar and food offerings.

Unlike some operators, we always include the local Barbados fees and taxes in our prices – this isn't added later. If you find any of our properties at a lower price elsewhere we promise to match it for you.
Property owners tend to accept bookings over the Christmas and New Year period on stricter terms than at other times of year. In general, bookings are subject to a 14 night minimum stay but owners may require a 3 week booking in some cases and will often need to approve dates to fit with their own travel plans or those of other guests. A higher deposit of 50% of the total rental price is payable for such bookings and the balance becomes due earlier at 90 days before arrival.
All prices quoted above have been calculated based on information provided by the owners but are subject to confirmation during December and January as occasionally owners may insist on the higher Christmas rate being applied either side of the main Christmas period. We suggest you contact us for a firm price quotation at this time of year, before making your booking.
