Gingerbread is located at Merlin Bay and has an enviable beachfront location. Very well furnished throughout with its own plunge pool and also the benefit of the resort pool.
Gingerbread is a comfortable stand-alone villa nestled amongst eight split-level villas, built around a central swimming pool and situated on a low sea cliff with steps leading down to the beach. The villa has three unique living levels as well as a private roof top deck. There is a private plunge pool on the same level as the large central swimming pool used by all guests on the Merlin Bay community.
The entrance, living room, dining room and the dining terrace which has sea views are on the main level. Located on the upper level, the master bedroom has a wonderful sitting terrace with views of the Caribbean Sea. Bedroom 2 is filled with the cool tropical breezes and the aromatic scents of the surrounding gardens.
Bedroom 3 is situated on the lowest level and features a beautiful king-size bed with direct access to the deck around the plunge pool. From the main sun deck, steps lead to the secluded beach directly in front of Merlin Bay where there is a beach and sea for swimming and snorkelling.

Unlike some operators, we always include the local Barbados fees and taxes in our prices – this isn't added later. If you find any of our properties at a lower price elsewhere we promise to match it for you.
Property owners tend to accept bookings over the Christmas and New Year period on stricter terms than at other times of year. In general, bookings are subject to a 14 night minimum stay but owners may require a 3 week booking in some cases and will often need to approve dates to fit with their own travel plans or those of other guests. A higher deposit of 50% of the total rental price is payable for such bookings and the balance becomes due earlier at 90 days before arrival.
All prices quoted above have been calculated based on information provided by the owners but are subject to confirmation during December and January as occasionally owners may insist on the higher Christmas rate being applied either side of the main Christmas period. We suggest you contact us for a firm price quotation at this time of year, before making your booking.
