Sanzaru is arguably one of the most luxurious private villas in Barbados and is located on the prestigious Sandy Lane Estate. The property has nine bedrooms in the main house and two in a separate guest house; all eleven have en-suite bathrooms.
The signature area of the estate is the veranda and patio, providing breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea spanning to the northern most part of the island. The outdoor area provides a soothing and peaceful accompaniment for your daily relaxation.
The focal point of this property is the heated crystal salt infinity pool which is perfectly situated for you to absorb the unparalleled views with the shallow sunbathing “beach” area perfectly designed for your deck chair to sit semi-submerged, allowing you to enjoy the cool waters while you relax. In the evening, the celestial lighting in the pool, complemented by the night sky, is the ultimate tranquil conclusion to another day in paradise.
Sanzaru is elegant both outside and in. Stately columns, ornate chandeliers and floor-length drapes make the expansive furnished veranda feel like an extension of the interiors, which are bright and breezy in their own right. For special-occasion dinners, the formal dining room seats twenty-two; for more casual affairs, there’s a breakfast bar in the fully equipped kitchen.
The stunning Master Suite is enormous and covers an incredible 4300 sq ft overlooking the picturesque water of the Caribbean Sea. There is a second Master suite, which also includes a separate twin bedded children's room and a living area located on the ground floor near to the pool and patio outdoor space. This allows for easy and convenient access for families with small children.
An open flamed fire pit creates the perfect garden bonfire for you to relax with a book and a glass of wine, or for a fun-filled and exciting evening while the children enjoy roasting marshmallows or hotdogs under a cloudless sky, freckled with stars.
The villa has full access to a private cabana (storage room) on the property owners beach at Sandy Lane and use of a four-seater golf buggy. You can revive your senses in the spa where the staff are able to arrange personalised treatments. Treatments available include Swedish Massages, Thai Massage, Sports/Deep Tissue, Guinot Facials, Caci Facials, Manicure, Pedicure and more.

Unlike some operators, we always include the local Barbados fees and taxes in our prices – this isn't added later. If you find any of our properties at a lower price elsewhere we promise to match it for you.
Property owners tend to accept bookings over the Christmas and New Year period on stricter terms than at other times of year. In general, bookings are subject to a 14 night minimum stay but owners may require a 3 week booking in some cases and will often need to approve dates to fit with their own travel plans or those of other guests. A higher deposit of 50% of the total rental price is payable for such bookings and the balance becomes due earlier at 90 days before arrival.
All prices quoted above have been calculated based on information provided by the owners but are subject to confirmation during December and January as occasionally owners may insist on the higher Christmas rate being applied either side of the main Christmas period. We suggest you contact us for a firm price quotation at this time of year, before making your booking.
